Follow the shore of the Great Lake, see the Source of the Nile… drive through the foothills of Mount Elgon… see the magnificent Sipi Falls, the most beautiful and romantic waterfall in the whole of Uganda.
Sipi is an ideal place to relax in the warm mountain sun and to go for rambles in the shambas - homestead gardens- of the local Sebei people. The camp is built around a croft-like house originally built as a governor's retreat, on a cliff directly overlooking the mesmerizing Sipi Falls and the Karmajong plains. Sipi is about 4-5 hours drive from Kampala, passing the Source of the Nile at Jinja. It is convenient for visiting Kenya and the
renowned Kidepo Valley National Park in northern Uganda

Itinerary:
Day one
Leave for Sipi Falls on the slopes of Mount Elgon. Drive through Mabira Forest and past vast sugar cane and tea plantations, visiting Ssezibwa Falls en route. Arrive in time for a late lunch. Rest of the day at leisure at the camp. Overnight Sipi Falls Rest Camp on full board basis

Day two
After a leisurely breakast breakfast take a short hike with a local guide or a ramble through the local Sabiny's shambas. Late in the afternoon, take a gentle walk to the bottom of the Sipi Falls and possibly walk up to the neighbouring Mnarya Caves. Overnight Sipi Falls Rest Camp on full board basis.

Day three
After breakfast depart Sipi Falls for the drive back through Mbale and onto Jinja in time for lunch. Visit Bujagali Falls, the well-known Adrift Rafting base and source of the Nile. Arrive back in Kampala late in the afternoon.
